About
Hey, I’m Riccardo :)
I’m a motion designer and multidisciplinary artist working across moving image, sound, and material experimentation. My practice explores the intersection of visual and sonic languages, delving into contemporary imagery, rhythm, and perception.
I first got into motion design while studying at Politecnico di Milano, where I earned degrees in Interior Design and Communication Design, graduating with a thesis in branding. After spending a few years in a small agency and two as a freelancer, I joined I MILLE, a larger and dynamic studio. Since May 2024, I’ve returned to freelancing — a choice that allows me to take on projects more personally, collaborate widely, and deepen my visual and sonic research.
I currently live and work between Milan and Berlin, exploring connections between nature, technology, and rituality in creative processes. I love blending structure and curiosity, crafting motion design that tells stories and brings ideas to life in a simple, honest, and sometimes playful way.
